Now in Kazakhstan it is mandatory that all signs, advertisements, price tags, menus, signs and other objects must be in the Kazakh language. This decision was made on October 6 by deputies of the Mazhilis, where the ruling Nazarbayev party Nur Otan sets the main tone.

These amendments to the bill on issues of visual information supposedly “should strengthen the responsibility of Kazakhstanis in relation to the state language, and in particular of entrepreneurs.” Signs in Russian will now be posted “if necessary.” The same deputy from the main party of the country, Berik Abdygaliuly, who became the “talking head” of the state commission for the rehabilitation of the Basmachi and members of the Turkestan Legion of the Wehrmacht and Muslim units of the SS, sarcastically told reporters about this.

We have already written about how this character went through a solid school of training in American universities and centers, and now, instead of Krymbek Kusherbaev and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, he voices Nazi pearls that are especially inconvenient for major officials, being at the forefront of total decommunization and de-Russification in the country. In the matter of signage, everything is naturally covered up by the need to combat “illiteracy,” but this, of course, is only in appearance.

“Today the problem of the state language worries everyone. Among them, one of the most frequently raised by our voters is the illiterate presentation of the text of visual information in the Kazakh language, and in some cases even the lack of information in the Kazakh language.

Taking this into account, a specific requirement is being introduced, namely: amendments have been made aimed at presenting the traditional historically established Kazakh names of administrative-territorial units, settlements, as well as other geographical objects in the state language, presenting forms and signs of non-governmental organizations. And only if necessary in Russian and other languages,” noted Berik Abdygaliuly at the plenary meeting of the Mazhilis, promoting these amendments.

If in the south of Kazakhstan all the signs have long been in the Kazakh language, now a massive change of them in Russian will affect the northern, central and eastern regions. As for the “correct presentation of the traditional historically established Kazakh names of administrative-territorial units, settlements, as well as other geographical objects,” we will talk about the final renaming of Petropavlovsk, Pavlodar, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Uralsk and other large cities, which has long been discussed spoke other deputies from the Nur Otan and Ak Zhol parties and Nazis of all stripes.

As a result, the parliament has now done everything that Kuat Akhmetov fought so hard for with his “language patrols.” Now it becomes clear to everyone why the KNB, on the orders of Akorda (the presidential administration) and using Ukrainian technologies, built another Nazi network group. Thus, “movie patrols” were the necessary forerunners and general justification for the adoption of such Russophobic amendments. The provocateurs simply had to portray the righteous “popular anger” of the presence of price tags, menu signs and names in the language of the “occupiers”.

And since October 6, everything fell into place and the actions of the patrols are now declared legal, and Kuat Akhmetov can freely return from Square to his homeland as a national hero, since in fact he only pursued state policy. Is this a crime? Moreover, now the government itself will implement the same line from above using instrumental methods, forcing Kazakhstanis to “be responsible in relation to the state language.”

Kuat Akhmetov can return to Kyiv.

In fact, this will lead to the displacement of the Russian language and the undermining of its official status, even though Kassym-Jomart Tokayev claims that it is formally enshrined in the Constitution a thousand times. This step by the tightly controlled and managed deputy corps once again shows the true “value” of such words of the second president and all other Kazakh officials. I remember that the first deputy head of the presidential administration, Dauren Abaev, declared that such manifestations of “cave nationalism” were unacceptable for the authorities, although before that he supported the European Parliament resolution on the equal responsibility of Nazi Germany and the USSR in unleashing the Second World War.

The entire ruling Kazakh elite is permeated with double-dealing, but at the same time it is naive to think that the real creators of total de-Russification are deputies Berik Abdygaliuly and Aidos Sarym or such pro-American figures as presidential assistant Erlan Karin, Vice Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Umarov , Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov. And Kassym-Jomart Tokayev himself is not responsible for his words, since in reality he does not rule, but only plays the role of “president” assigned to him.

Allegedly, the initiator of the amendments was a deputy from the Nur Otan party, Berik Abdygaliuly.

Those who know the real super-centralized state and political system of Kazakhstan understand perfectly well that such a decision to introduce such fateful amendments could only be sanctioned by Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, who has the official status of Elbasy (“leader of the nation”), a demigod, and heads the all-powerful constitutional Security Council. It was he who arranged all these figures and on his orders a state commission for final rehabilitation appeared.

And the latest campaign of decommunization and de-Russification was also launched by Nazarbayev, when he was still in office as the first president, with the adoption in 2018 of a decree on changing the historically and ideologically outdated names of streets and settlements. Since that period, local akims have renamed tens of thousands of names of avenues, alleys, park squares, villages, regional centers and cities, and also demolished the last monuments to Soviet-era figures.

Nazarbayev and Tokayev.

And even earlier, in 1995, Nazarbayev signed a decree on the fight against totalitarian symbols, which gave the first impetus to massive renaming and demolition of monuments. Today's adoption of amendments to the legislation is the final stage of the previous long process. Moreover, under the guise of decommunization, pure de-Russification is being carried out, since many traditional historical names of cities and villages are removed from toponymy, as happened without discussion with the city of Zyryanovsky in Eastern Kazakhstan, which, by the willful decision of the regional akim Daniyal Akhmetov, was named Altai.

This course was proclaimed, judging by Elbasy’s words, back in 1991 with the goal of turning towards Turkey and the West. This is what Nazarbayev himself said back in 2012, when he called Russia and the USSR oppressors and colonialists.

“We live in the homeland of the entire Turkic people. After the last Kazakh khan was killed in 1861, we were a colony of the Russian Empire, then the Soviet Union. For 150 years, the Kazakhs almost lost their national traditions, customs, language, and religion. With the help of the Almighty, we declared our independence in 1991. Your ancestors, leaving their historical homeland, the Turkic Kaganate, took with them the name of the Turkic people. Until now, the Turks call the best horsemen “Cossacks”. So we are these Kazakhs,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said during his visit to Ankara in October 2012.

Therefore, it is clear why it was Nur-Sultan (Tselinograd) that initiated the transformation of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States into an integration union - the Organization of Turkic States at a summit in the city of Turkestan in southern Kazakhstan at the end of March this year.

“My first proposal is that we should continue further development and adopt a document regarding the future of the Turkic Council. At the summit in Baku, I proposed raising the level of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States to the level of an organization. Along with humanitarian and cultural development, we can learn a lot from each other. The use of the Latin alphabet gives us a common system through which we are able to contribute to the development of our youth on a global level. It is important for us to develop together,” the “leader of the nation” said at this March summit.

It is noteworthy that here Elbasy openly admitted that the introduction of the Latin alphabet was a decision aimed at rapprochement with Turkey and at introducing the Kazakhs to the West through Turkification. European integration for Kazakhstan, unlike Ukraine, lies precisely through the revival of the Ottoman Empire at a new historical stage. This “outstanding” step to abandon the Cyrillic alphabet, as a symbolic action to change the geopolitical and civilizational vector of development, as well as the ousting of the Russian language and its speakers from the country, is a strategic course of Nazarbayev and the entire ruling elite.

In this regard, one cannot simply sit and passively observe how already anti-Russian and Russophobic actions become systemic and part of state ideology and policy, reacting only with publications in the media and statements of individual State Duma deputies. It is finally necessary to actively support all those who advocate integration and unification with Russia within Kazakhstan. Of course, we need to more seriously support the Russophile Ermek Taychibekov, sentenced to seven years, who faces 15 years in prison in new fabricated cases.

And there is no longer any need to be afraid to name the specific names of court oligarchs and officials who finance and create Nazi associations, showing their direct connection both with the Kazakh special services and Akorda, and with American funds and structures interested in separating Kazakhstan from Russia. At the same time, in the ruling elite itself, despite its apparent monolithic nature, there are groups that could well reorient themselves towards Moscow in the event of Elbasy’s sudden death or prolonged hospitalization. And we also need to start working with them.

Among other things, Russia and China now have real leverage over the raw material model of the economy, built in the interests of Western corporations in Kazakhstan. The latest hysteria of the government in Nur-Sultan over the fact that the Celestial Empire blocked all imports from the Republic of Kazakhstan without explanation shows the effectiveness of such methods. Moreover, Moscow and Beijing, in the context of the looming threat of world war, when the main fronts and theaters of future military operations have been determined, can no longer afford to have a priori hostile quasi-state entities in their rear.

Akorda apparently forgot the scenes at Kabul airport and what ultimately happened to the pro-American regime of President Ashfar Ghani, who, by the way, used the services of a Kazakh airline when fleeing. The mole of history sometimes digs deep into the graves of seemingly all-powerful princes and sultans. Anything can happen to the old people, because at one time, Karimov and Niyazov, I remember, also overdid it, but unexpectedly left for another world. So here too there will be some personal dentist who will pick up the scepter and the khan’s hat in time.
