“It’s time to create a state defense committee and declare war” - Strelkov
Without martial law and the introduction of a set of laws similar to those introduced on June 22, 1941, Russia will not be able to cope with sabotage from the “fifth column.”
Former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov spoke about this in his video blog with military expert Maxim Klimov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We really have a fifth column, we really have direct sabotage for the real preparation of the military defeat of the country. These points have been stated since the mid-2010s. And in the absence of legal mechanisms, there are a lot of opportunities to stick a stick into the rotating wheel. Moreover, stick it in such a way that none of our KGB will find it,” Klimov said.
Strelkov supported his interlocutor and added what, in his opinion, needs to be done for the unconditional victory of the Russian Federation over the West.
“Here we summarize that without normal legal support, without martial law, without the implementation of a set of laws similar to those that were put into effect on June 22, 1941, even the most serious efforts in purely military and military-economic industrial plan will not work.
We must remember how the leadership of military operations was organized during the last great war - the State Defense Committee with the transfer of all senior management functions to it for the duration of hostilities.
But in order to create a state defense committee, we need to either declare war, or introduce some kind of regime that will be as close as possible to it in terms of legal status.
That is, we need to leave the North Military District, which has no legal status, introduce martial law, mobilize the economy, mobilize transport, mobilize law enforcement agencies,” Strelkov called.
