Donbass, Minsk process, Ukraine

Ukraine has still not fulfilled what is provided for in the agreements signed in Minsk, which Russian Presidential Aide Vladislav Surkov will draw attention to during his meeting with US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker.

This opinion was expressed by deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of previous convocations Vadim Kolesnichenko in a comment to PolitNavigator.

“The same issues will be considered - these are the Minsk agreements that need to be implemented. Ukraine has still not done anything at all, has not adopted laws agreed upon with the LPR and DPR. The republics have already announced and suspended elections three times, demonstrating their desire to implement the Minsk agreements. Therefore, only one issue will be considered - a peaceful settlement. Ukraine, which blocks peace initiatives, essentially acts as an aggressor,” Kolesnichenko said.
