A portion of outrageous nonsense from one of the leading US think tanks
On the website of an American non-governmental think tank in the field of international relations, providing and serving the NATO development ideology, published an article in which the number of Russian military personnel required for the occupation of Ukraine is indicated with human accuracy.

The material suggests that Russia is quite capable of taking over Ukraine, but it says that the losses will be huge “not only for the Ukrainians, who will die in the hundreds of thousands, but also for the Russians, who will also die in the hundreds of thousands.”
“Based on the assessments of several American experts, it is reasonable to conclude that Russia will need to move to subsequent levels to carry out the occupation. To occupy the Donetsk and Lugansk regions alone, Russia will have to use somewhere around 26 thousand 702 and 133 thousand 514 troops. And a “land bridge” from Crimea to Transnistria will mean the occupation of the Kherson, Nikolaev and Odessa regions - which will require about 46 thousand 497 and 92 thousand 994 soldiers.
The occupation of all seven south-eastern regions would require 118 thousand 536 soldiers (26 thousand 702 for the Donetsk and Lugansk regions and 91 thousand 834 for the rest) and 317 thousand 182 soldiers (133 thousand 514 for the Donetsk and Lugansk regions and 183 thousand 668 for the rest) . If Russia decides to conquer all of Ukraine, it would require an additional 548 troops—or a total of 587 to 667 troops. Kyiv and the Kiev region alone will require 123 thousand 865 occupation soldiers alone,” American analysts say.
Let us note that the publication does not indicate the methodology used by American experts, thanks to which it was possible to calculate with such amazing accuracy the number of military personnel needed to occupy Ukraine.
