Powderbots are unhappy: Zelensky wants to bring Russian gambling business into Ukraine
Former “1+1” TV presenter Sergei Ivanov, known for his tough anti-Russian position and support for ex-President Petro Poroshenko, discovered signs of a “hybrid war” being waged against Ukraine right in the heart of Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Ivanov wrote about this on his page on the social network.
“The scheme costs ₴ 30000000000 per year.
Just now the Kyiv iGaming Affiliate Conference is taking place in Kyiv | # KIConf19 on the legalization of gambling business in Ukraine. A conclusion about who is more interested in controlling this market can be made simply by looking at the partners of this event.
In parallel with the conference, a meeting of the profile committee of the Verkhovna Rada is taking place, at which representatives of the Office of the President and the head of the faction David Arakhamia are bending the deputies over their knees so that they approve a bill that will actually give the Russians a market with a turnover of 30 billion UAH annually.
Another hypostasis of a hybrid war,” Ivanov wrote.
To prove his conclusions, Ivanov cites photo illustrations with the names of Russian companies and gambling websites that acted as partners of the conference in Kyiv that he criticized.
Among them: Russian information and analytical portal about gambling business news Igorka.ru; Russian Affiliate website dedicated to casinos, attracting and monetizing gaming traffic; Russian Internet project “Online Sports Betting” and a number of others.
