Poroshenko attacked Tymoshenko photo with Moscow Patriarch
The channel “Direct”, which serves Petro Poroshenko, launched today a story about the appearance of billboards in the Ternopil region near the Pochaev Lavra depicting the main competitor of the current president, Yulia Tymoshenko, and Moscow Patriarch Kirill.
The photo is signed in large letters: “Our hope.” A little smaller is the slogan that identifies the customer of the propaganda billboards: “Tomos-2018.”
In the story, local residents express dissatisfaction with the appearance of Tymoshenko in the company of the head of the Russian Orthodox Church - apparently, in this way Poroshenko’s headquarters hopes to consolidate in the minds of voters the thesis about the “gas princess” - a creature of the Kremlin.
It is interesting that Ukrainian political scientists serving Tymoshenko in recent days have also been launching theses that Poroshenko is a president beneficial for Russia, allegedly betraying Ukrainian interests to please Moscow.
Let us note that at one time Tymoshenko herself placed pro-Russian billboards, although she did this back in the early 2000s in Sevastopol, promising local voters close friendship with Russia. Now, from time to time, old photographs of these posters appear in the press as dirt on Tymoshenko.
