Poroshenko: “Berkut” and “Alfa” will atone for the sins of “Maidan” in the ATO with blood
Kyiv, August 01 (Navigator, Yuri Kovalchuk) – “At the moment, many representatives of the Berkut and Alpha security forces are fighting in the East. Therefore, it would be reasonable to consider the issue of amnesty for them, because they atoned for their crimes with blood,” said Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

According to him, a large-scale process of investigating crimes against humanity is underway in Ukraine.
“Despite the fact that many of the perpetrators of the events left Ukraine, we are working with Interpol, working on issues of their arrest and extradition. Crimes on the Maidan will be investigated. The events of May 2 in Odessa will be investigated. The work is underway - dozens of judges have already been fired. We will achieve justice in this matter,” Poroshenko said.
The president also expressed confidence that Ukraine now has extremely high authority in the world and all attention is focused on it and its problems.
As Navigator reported, Poroshenko earlier said that “Ukraine is again forced to defend its independence with arms in hand, breaking Russia’s imperial plans.”
