According to him, Moldovans, Russians, Ukrainians and other nationalities were able to get along in difficult conditions in Transnistria.
“Transnistria is an example of how to build life in a complex society. Russians, Ukrainians, Moldovans, Bulgarians, and Greeks live there. And they all feel at home. This is an amazing place - they were able to build a very good, viable model, which is what infuriates neighboring states, which cannot do this under much simpler conditions,” Nikonov said.
