Poroshenko is more afraid of grandmothers under the Cabinet of Ministers than of Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky
Judging by the way the security bloc is formed in Ukraine, the regime of Petro Poroshenko fears population riots in the center of Kyiv more than an attack by the LDPR. Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, announced this at a press conference today.

“We have more than 500 thousand security forces, of which only approximately 50 thousand are in the ATO zone.
“The way the funding model was formed this year, there is a really serious bias towards the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the SBU, the authorities today are afraid of the internal “connecting rod”, more of some grandmothers under the Cabinet of Ministers than of Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky,” he said.
According to Bortnik, by reducing the power bloc, the Ukrainian authorities could find the missing money to pay pensions.
“It can be safely reduced by half, only at the expense of such intimate fears of the authorities and at the expense of people who have nothing to do with defense and in no way defend the country, at least from external enemies,” the political scientist said.
