The former Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul, the head of the Maidan of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Yaremenko, stated this on the air of the Kyiv Channel 5.

“With all the support that Pyotr Alekseevich received in the country, in fact he has little choice, since he received control of a country that is at war. Ukraine's foreign policy in the first days of President Poroshenko's reign will be aimed at reducing foreign policy pressure and expanding the circle of friends, expanding the circle of external support. That is, in fact, this is support for the anti-terrorist operation, and the renewal of Ukraine after the Maidan and after the ATO,” the diplomat noted.

“And in parallel, I think that the elected president will also not have much choice but to carry out a radical revision of Ukraine’s foreign policy, to make a decision, and, obviously, not only to make political decisions for himself, and these, obviously, should also be laws, and other regulations - who are allies, who are friends, and of course, develop tactics, how we mobilize our friends, and how we cooperate, or how we coexist with our enemies,” predicts Bogdan Yaremenko.
