Poroshenko miraculously escaped death
Petro Poroshenko could have died right on the day of his inauguration - a year ago, a bucket of explosives and nails was discovered on the route of the newly elected president’s motorcade.

The bucket with the bomb was attached to the fence near the presidential administration - along the route of the presidential motorcade. It was supposed to be triggered by a signal from a mobile phone, state security chief Valery Geletey told reporters.
According to him, Poroshenko was then saved by chance - the guards heard the noise of the bushes through which an unknown person was pushing his way to hang a bucket on the fence. After this, the bodyguards decided to explore the area and discovered explosives. So Poroshenko was saved.
