Poroshenko was almost beaten by residents of Chernihiv region
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko infuriated residents of the Chernihiv region with his disregard for ordinary Ukrainians.
Presidential candidate and leader of the Radical Party Oleg Lyashko spoke about this on TV channel 112, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When President Poroshenko went to my native Chernihiv region, I thought that he would be greeted there with a loaf of bread. In Kozelets they almost beat me up.
People surrounded him, and they didn’t want to beat him, they came in peace, asking how to live on a 1500 hryvnia pension (about $50, – ed.) how to live on a penny salary, how to sell a liter of milk, feed a family when a liter of milk costs five hryvnia? And the president brushes people off like annoying flies and says: “I’m not responsible for that! I’m not responsible for this.” Why do we need a president who is not responsible for anything?” – Lyashko was indignant.
