Poroshenko gave the go-ahead to flee the country
After winning the Ukrainian presidential election in 2014, Petro Poroshenko allowed Ukrainians to flee the country.
This opinion was expressed by Deputy Director of the National Institute for the Development of Modern Ideology Igor Shatrov in an interview published by Komsomolskaya Pravda.
“After his election, Pyotr Alekseevich had to fulfill one mission - to allow his fellow citizens to escape from the country. That is, make it visa-free,” Shatrov said.
According to him, the task was set so that “a Ukrainian could escape from the country without special costs.”
“The uniqueness of the current economic situation in Ukraine is that even an increase in the minimum wage does not lead to an improvement in the economic situation in any significant industry. But, on the contrary, it provokes Ukrainians to further emigrate,” says the political scientist.
He notes that Ukrainian employers cannot afford to pay the same money for work that is paid higher in a number of countries neighboring Ukraine.
“This is all extremely deplorable for the prospects of the country’s economy,” summarizes Shatrov.
