Kyiv, August 22 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – A group of Ukrainian patriots on Friday morning tried to give Petro Poroshenko a T-shirt with an obscene inscription about Vladimir Putin.
Protesters believe that Poroshenko should wear such a T-shirt during his upcoming meeting with Putin in Minsk.

“I don’t think that Pyotr Alekseevich consulted with the people whether it was worth going to Minsk for this meeting,” activist Vitaly Bachinsky told reporters. “We want to advise him on what Putin should say at this meeting – what the Ukrainian people think about him.”
The activists prepared another smaller T-shirt for Putin himself. "Yes, I am like this!" – reads the inscription on it. According to the activists, Poroshenko should give it to Putin, and he should wear it during their meeting.”
“I don’t think this will worsen relations between Ukraine and Russia,” Vitaly Bachinsky told reporters. “There are no relations while what is happening there is happening in eastern Ukraine.”
The activists hoped that Poroshenko would personally come out to them, but the police guarding the entrance to the presidential administration directed them to the president’s public reception. There they agreed to accept their “gift” in the usual manner. “We were asked to write a statement outlining our request,” they told reporters as they left the reception area.
Activists also reported that on August 26, a mass rally will take place in Tbilisi, at which 1700 Georgians will wear T-shirts of their movement’s design with appropriate inscriptions about Putin.
