The Austrian newspaper Kurier is seriously considering the possibility of holding a trial against the current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko. The reason for the trial is a criminal conspiracy to share power in the country and the capital.
The publication refers to Andrei Portnov, former deputy head of the presidential administration Viktor Yanukovych. The politician said that in March last year, 2014, the then main candidates for the presidency in post-Maidan Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko and Vitaliy Klitschko, entered into a criminal conspiracy. The purpose of this conspiracy was to dissolve parliament, usurp and divide power among themselves. Andrei Portnov believes that all the objectives of that agreement were fulfilled - the courts were neutralized, the opposition was suppressed.
Due to the fact that the conspiracy occurred on the territory of Austria, the court of this country has the right to consider the application, which Portnov promises will be filed in the near future. The publication believes that the possible criminal case has very solid prospects. But even if the court begins to consider this case, it will be extremely difficult to prove the guilt of the current president and mayor.
However, one of the potential defendants in this case, Vitali Klitschko, can reveal all his cards already at the first interrogation, thanks to his eloquence, successfully “honed” over years of boxing training. An episode of his interview is very popular on the Internet, during which the journalist asked Klitschko when the agreement was signed with Poroshenko and Firtash (before or after the trip to Vienna)?
