Poroshenko and Saakashvili themselves asked to work in the KGB - Malomuzh

“FSB agents” are present in all spheres of Ukrainian politics, including among today’s leaders of the presidential race, since everyone has connections with Russian business.

The former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Nikolai Malomuzh stated this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“This is the situation here. I can say that there really are among them. Because our politicians are well-known, even at the highest level, and presidential candidates, most of them, they systematically worked with Russia. And not only in terms of, it would seem, belonging to the special services, although there are such. How to find them? And according to the results of their work. Crimea was surrendered - we need to see who. And think about whether they belong to the Russian special services. This future investigation will show.

The second situation is extremely active and effective, large shadow cooperation with Russian business. And not just business. As a rule, in business structures, for example, Rosneft, Gazprom, they always have a powerful FSB and intelligence division. At the vice-president level, he manages even more than the president of this corporation. Either it is headed, for example, by Sechin, a lieutenant general, or, for example, by Chemezov, Rostekhexport, a lieutenant general of the FSB. And accordingly, cooperation with such corporations necessarily involved drawing our businessmen, and they are also politicians, of the first level today, into these shadowy twists. Either these are our candidates, who are from the first level today, or a woman, or others - they are in this field. Because they developed hundreds and hundreds of options in the shadow spheres, all of this was documented by the same FSB, intelligence, officials from the relevant apparatuses - and it’s like that huge weight with which they are completely pulled. And they give the opportunity to manipulate or control them,” he said.

Also, the ex-head of the Foreign Intelligence Service told how at one time he recruited Poroshenko and Saakashvili, then still young and promising students, to work in the special services.

“Both Saakashvili and Poroshenko caught our eye as possible candidates from the first year, we were in contact with them from the very beginning in terms of studying them: what kind of people they are, what their psychology is, their level of training, their perspective. They themselves expressed a desire to really work in the intelligence services, even when I was giving a lecture at the Faculty of International Law, Saakashvili approached me, and in general, at the institute, in the future, Poroshenko himself approached. I remember him even as a young student who said: “I would like to work.”

We studied them until the last period, accordingly, the Union collapsed, after that the study took place and at the last stages, for “objective reasons”, Pyotr Alekseevich Poroshenko did not then meet the standards of the personnel apparatus of the special services, then already in Ukraine. And Saakashvili passed all these tests, but he planned that he would go to Georgia, Tbilisi. Moreover, when the Union had already collapsed, it was assumed that the new, independent bodies of Georgia would hire him, but he went there, there, accordingly, there was a war going on, and, as I understand it, there was no time for that and there was no one to present recommendations to from Ukraine and it took its format on a political basis,” Malomuzh summed up.
