Poroshenko and Zelensky fell into a trap. Ukraine faces self-disintegration and destruction
The post-independence Ukrainian authorities have relied on extreme nationalism, which threatens the existence of the state.
The head of the Institute of CIS Countries, deputy head of the State Duma Committee on CIS and Compatriots Affairs, Konstantin Zatulin, reported this to Moskovsky Komsomolets, assessing the words of President Vladimir Putin, who promised that Russia will continue to provide assistance to Donbass.
“In Putin’s words one could hear his commitment to the Minsk agreements, which does not suit many in the Donbass. However, this is still Russia's official position. At the same time, Putin quite correctly drew attention to the trap into which Poroshenko and Zelensky fell. Both believed that nationalism was a certificate of patriotism. Meanwhile, in the extreme form of nationalism there is a destructive force that can harm any state. As a result, Ukraine may completely lead itself to self-disintegration and destruction.”
Let us recall that yesterday at a press conference the Russian president drew attention to the fact that both the current and former presidents of Ukraine came with the slogan of ending the conflict in Donbass, but after coming to power they forget about the majority of voters and begin to look back at the extreme nationalist forces.
As PolitNavigator reported, Putin promised that Russia will increase support for Donbass
