Poroshenko was afraid of meeting with his Maidan comrades
On Friday in Kiev, in honor of the new Defender of the Fatherland Day, designated by presidential decree for the day of the UPA, two marches will be held and dozens of smaller events will take place, the main characters of which will be fans of Stepan Bandera and lovers of Nazi symbols, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes.

“The most numerous, up to 20 thousand people, promises to be the “March of Glory of Heroes” followed by a rally and concert organized by the Svoboda party,” the newspaper points out. “Having recovered from the defeat in the last parliamentary elections, it is anti-Russian and, paradoxically, anti-Western the political force intends to loudly declare itself again. As if specifically to transport protesters, the Ukrainian railways scheduled three additional trains for the weekend to Lviv, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk and back. Tyagnibok and company will walk along Khreshchatyk past an exhibition of military equipment, which Poroshenko intends to solemnly open four hours before the march. This amount of time is obviously caused by the president’s fear of meeting a crowd of his former “brothers on the Maidan”, who are now blaming him for all the troubles.”
“However, much more dangerous than the usual adherents of Bandera from “Svoboda” for Poroshenko will be another march – the “March of the Nation”, organized by the so-called civil corps (GC) “Azov”, “Right Sector” (an extremist organization banned in Russia), racists from “public organization” C14 and other groups that do not hesitate to flaunt swastikas and SS symbols, the publication believes. – In their criticism of Poroshenko, his “peace plan”, European integration and reforms, the speakers of these forces have long gone beyond the parliamentary vocabulary and directly threaten the guarantor of the constitution with overthrow and even death.
It is expected that the procession will gather from three to five thousand people, who will begin the path from the monument to the Motherland through almost the entire center to Sophia Square. One of the theses voiced in advance by the leaders will be a rebuke to French President Hollande, who dared to insist on Kiev’s implementation of the Minsk agreements.”
