Poroshenko wants to bury the JCCC mission in Donbass
The Ukrainian side, which actively advocated in 2014 for the creation of a special center for control and coordination to resolve the military conflict in Donbass, is now doing everything possible to ensure that it ceases to exist.

This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a meeting of the OSCE Council of Ministers in Vienna, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We support the efforts of the OSCE in the contact group, as well as the work of the SMM in Donbass. Both of these functions of the OSCE should be aimed at developing direct dialogue between Kiev, Donetsk and Lugansk, as required by the set of Minsk measures, to which there are no alternatives. So far, by the way, efforts within the contact group, as in the Normandy format, are artificially slowed down by Kiev.
A dangerous situation has developed around the JCCC. The Ukrainian side, and specifically, President Poroshenko personally, having initiated the creation of such a center in 2014, is today doing everything to put the Russian officers in its composition in unbearable conditions, putting forward impossible and unacceptable conditions to them, that is, in essence, they are seeking so that the center ceases to exist,” said Sergei Lavrov.
