Poroshenko wants to involve the mayor of Kharkov in a dirty scheme
The current President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, is trying, with the help of security forces, to enlist the support of the mayors of large cities. Political expert Dmitry Korneychuk stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert made such a statement in the context of discussing the news that the criminal case against the mayor of Kharkov Gennady Kernes was suspended.
“It is clear that Kernes is of interest to the authorities, as a person who controls Kharkov, who has a very high level of support, and on the eve of the presidential elections, the position of the president in Kharkov will largely depend on Kernes’s position, whether Kernes will help or not,” Korneychuk believes .
