Poroshenko wants to appease the military with a 30% salary increase

Petro Poroshenko instructed to increase the monetary support of the Ukrainian military by no less than 30%, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He stated this today at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, Poroshenko’s press service reports.
“I would ask that the monetary support for the Ukrainian soldier be increased by no less than 30 percent. We decided to make this a priority and do everything in our power to ensure that this is implemented in the best possible way,” Poroshenko said.
Previously, JFO militants had their wages increased by 50 percent during their stay in the JFO area, provided they had supporting documents.
