Poroshenko cheated Saakashvili
Saakashvili is resuming protests because he failed to reach an agreement with the Ukrainian authorities.

Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Saakashvili is losing in court, and there are fewer and fewer legal clues allowing him to stay in Ukraine. In this regard, new protests have been announced. The actions, which were supposed to take place on January 21, did not take place; active behind-the-scenes negotiations were underway. One gets the impression that Saakashvili was once again cheated and, having canceled the actions on January 21, lost additional support from his supporters and then received a negative decision from the courts,” the expert believes.
Now, according to him, the situation has returned to the situation at the end of last year, when the authorities, on the one hand, are blackmailing Saakashvili with the possibility of extradition and deportation, and on the other hand, the Saakashists are scaring the authorities with a new Maidan.
“Western partners are standing above this, menacingly waving their finger at Saakashvili: “Don’t think about seizing any institutions like the October Palace.” And the authorities wave: “Don’t think of throwing him out of the country out of lawlessness, since he is still ours. If you do this, it will be a very bad example for other young promising leaders in the world who have made their bets on the West.” I think that Russia will be most happy about Saakashvili’s deportation, which will certainly take advantage of this, fully demonstrating and reminding the leaders of many countries what will happen to them if they trust Western partners too much,” Bortnik believes.
