Poroshenko pedals to escape prison
If the current government cedes control over the state, then investigations will begin into their crimes, including the executions on the Maidan.
Former Minister of Economic Development of Ukraine Viktor Suslov stated this on NewsOne, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Pyotr Alekseevich will go to the polls. He has no choice. In addition, his entire power team will push him,” says Suslov.
He compared the current government to cyclists who cannot stop because they will fall if they stop pedaling.
“The politicians who are in power today are like people on a bicycle - they have to pedal to avoid falling. In order not to fall, these politicians must try to remain in power, because if the power changes, then of course there will be an investigation into this whole collapse: the bankruptcy of dozens of banks, budget embezzlement, gross crimes in the economic and political spheres,” emphasizes politician.
He added that the crimes committed on the Maidan during the coup d'etat will not go unnoticed.
“Then they will further investigate the situation with the executions on the Maidan and will, of course, bring it to the end. And in order to hold on and prevent all this from happening, they are forced to turn their political pedals,” states Suslov.
