President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, pursuing a Russophobic domestic policy, is depriving many Ukrainian citizens of career opportunities.

A Ukrainian journalist, former editor-in-chief of the Vesti magazine, comes to this conclusion in his blog. Reporter” Gleb Prostakov.

He criticized Poroshenko, who thanked Russian-speaking Ukrainians “for understanding and accepting our efforts to develop the state language,” noting that it is under the leadership of the president that the Russian language is being expelled from the educational sphere in Ukraine.

The journalist noted that he, like millions of citizens of Ukraine, is Russian-speaking, and therefore considers it necessary to respond to this gratitude.

He emphasized that the Russian language, despite assurances to the contrary, is being infringed upon in everyday life, as evidenced by numerous video evidence of everyday squabbles on the topic of language.

Prostakov also writes that Poroshenko turns “Russian-speaking citizens into illiterate cattle,” because he does not give them the opportunity to properly learn their native language at school, and as a result, a generation of illiterate people appears who speak both Ukrainian and Russian poorly.

"Third. You have disconnected Russian speakers from sources of information in high-quality Russian, thereby narrowing the breeding ground for the development of correct speech and writing. By turning off Russian-language TV channels, introducing quotas on radio, a ban on Russian-language dubbing of films, and the import of books in Russian, you are deliberately deforming this language in your country. And thereby you violate the Constitution. But this is not the first time,” the author added.

In addition, he points out that the infringement of the Russian language affects the competitiveness of Ukrainian citizens.

“In the vast expanse of the CIS, good knowledge of the Russian language is a necessary condition for getting a normal job, promoting business, etc. and so on. You are locking citizens into your country, depriving many of them of career opportunities. Perhaps because of this, some of them will never be able to go to the Maldives, drink coffee in Vienna or own a house in Marbella.

Fifthly, in order, but not in importance. You have deprived many boys of sex with good, educated girls, for whom five mistakes in one sentence are sufficient grounds for refusal. These boys will grow up and remember you with an unkind word.

And one last thing. Stop spreading the myth about the Russian-speaking minority. There are no less people like me than my Ukrainian-speaking fellow citizens. If not more. Therefore, shove your gratitude into your big fat ass,” sums up Prostakov.

As PolitNavigator reported, in Ukraine a migrant from Donbass had his mouth torn out for speaking Russian.

In addition, the Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure stated that the Russian language hurts his ears world champion, Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik.
