Poroshenko showed a simulation of a real battle at the Lvov training ground of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Petro Poroshenko, as part of a working trip to the Lviv region, took part in events dedicated to the Day of the Territorial Defense Soldier, which took place at the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security - at the Yavoriv training ground, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The head of state inspected training sites for territorial defense units, in particular the personnel of the 64th territorial defense battalion of the 103rd separate territorial defense brigade of the Lviv region,” the message says.
As the press service informed, Poroshenko got acquainted with the training of communications support units and the exercises of the engineering unit. In particular, the skills of territorial defense fighters in working with improvised explosive devices, mine safety, terrain reconnaissance and the destruction of engineer ammunition were demonstrated.
It is reported that during Poroshenko’s familiarization with the psychological training of fighters, issues such as the procedure for moving across the battlefield in difficult conditions, the procedure for moving across the battlefield, and providing first aid in the red and yellow zones were worked out.
In addition, during the exercises, the procedure for personnel actions at a stationary checkpoint, the procedure for personnel actions during the capture of buildings, the occupation of defense on a wide front, when covering the state border, as well as movement on the battlefield using a system for simulating a real battle were worked out.
