Petro Poroshenko called on Ukrainians to abandon Russian websites “for security reasons.”

He wrote about this on his page on the VKontakte social network.
“I urge all compatriots to immediately log out of Russian servers for security reasons,” he wrote.
Poroshenko also set a personal example and announced the closure of his official pages on Russian social networks.
“Ukrainian Internet providers must stop providing access to Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki, Yandex and other Russian services. All official pages of the president in these services will be closed,” Poroshenko’s press service reported.
Let us recall that on May 16, Poroshenko put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated April 28, 2017, which provides for the ban on Yandex, Mail ru, VKontakte and Odnoklassniki. In total, there are 1228 individuals and 468 legal entities on the new sanctions list of Ukraine.
