“I proposed a normal idea - create eight battalions of the so-called construction battalion. Call in 50-year-old men who cannot fight. Dress them in uniform, feed them, pay them 2 thousand hryvnia (less than $100 at the current exchange rate, - ed.), and let them spend a year restoring there from auxiliary materials, building roads, and so on. It’s cheap and cheerful, and people will see that Ukraine, using the same construction battalion, is restoring Donbass,” Kunitsyn said.
Let us recall that before the elections Petro Poroshenko promised that each ATO participant would receive 1000 UAH per day.
