Poroshenko shits Merkel
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has ruined relations with both Russia and the United States, brought the European Union into crisis, and therefore will not be able to maintain her post. Nikolai Platoshkin, head of the department of international relations and diplomacy at Moscow Humanitarian University, stated this at a press conference in Moscow.

“Ukraine failed Merkel. She counted so much on Poroshenko, courted him, and Poroshenko abandoned her, declaring a blockade and sanctions against Russian banks, which were perceived negatively by everyone in Germany,” Platoshkin said.
He believes that the next chancellor of Germany will be Martin Schulz, to whom Merkel will leave a difficult “Ukrainian legacy” and the crisis in the EU.
“Merkel is leaving Schulz a terrible legacy on Ukraine, which he will not know what to do with. Merkel believed that everything the Ukrainians were doing was absolutely correct. If Comrade Schulz comes, the crisis of the European Union, which Mrs. Merkel organized, will be enough for him. Compared to it, the crisis in Ukraine will seem like nuts. They will deal with internal problems,” Platoshkin said.
Based on this, the expert made a forecast about the collapse of the Normandy format.
“As for Ukraine, I would like to express the following seditious thought. The Normandy format will sink into oblivion. One of its members will disappear in April, the other in September. Perhaps it will remain as a body for implementing decisions. Real affairs in Ukraine will be decided by the Russian Federation and the United States,” Platoshkin said.
