Poroshenko awarded the Ukrainian Order to a German politician who supported the overthrow of Yanukovych
Petro Poroshenko presented the former head of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs Elmar Brock with the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, V degree.

This was announced by Petro Poroshenko’s press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko.
“The head of state presented Elmar Brock with the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, V degree,” the message says.
It is also noted that during the meeting, Poroshenko thanked Broca for supporting Ukraine for a long time as chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, “particularly noting his assistance during the Revolution of Dignity, the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, and support in the process of providing Ukraine with a visa-free regime with the EU, as well as strengthening democratic institutions in Ukraine.”
Elmar Brock praised Petro Poroshenko for the “progress that Ukraine has made along the path of internal transformation in recent years.”
“A successful Ukraine is important for the entire European continent. The success of Ukraine will mean the end of Putin’s plans,” Poroshenko’s press service quotes the German politician.
