Poroshenko hired a lawyer
The fact that former President Petro Poroshenko hired a lawyer is evidence of the ex-president’s transition from the status of an important statesman to the status of a person involved in the judicial chronicle, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This opinion was expressed in his Telegram channel by Ukrainian lawyer Andrei Portnov, who initiated the submission of four statements about the commission of crimes by Poroshenko and his immediate circle to the State Bureau of Investigation.
“Petro Poroshenko’s lawyer called Portnov’s statements legal trolling,” the media reported. Friends, I believe that the main and key signal of this news is that Poroshenko hired himself a lawyer. And this is a gradual transition from the rhetoric of an important statesman to a qualitatively different agenda - judicial and criminal. And here we will help with informational reasons and the transformation of the person involved from moralizing pathos into criminal law,” Portnov promised.
In addition, Andrei Portnov said that Petro Poroshenko put Ukrainian sailors in a Russian prison “for the purpose of cheap PR, creating the preconditions for introducing martial law, disrupting the presidential elections, usurping power and prolonging his profit over budgetary and natural resources.” A statement about this crime was previously filed by Portnov’s legal team with law enforcement agencies.
