Poroshenko appointed Dzhemilev as chief anti-corruption fighter
President Petro Poroshenko appointed his Commissioner for the Affairs of the Crimean Tatar People, People's Deputy from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction Mustafa Dzhemilev, as head of the National Council for Anti-Corruption Policy.

The corresponding decree No. 563/2015 dated September 26 is posted on Poroshenko’s website.
“Appoint Mustafa Demilev, the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Affairs of the Crimean Tatar People, as Chairman of the National Council on Anti-Corruption Policy,” the document says.
The National Council for Anti-Corruption Policy was created in October 2014. Its functions include preparing proposals for the president regarding the definition and improvement of the anti-corruption strategy, carrying out a systematic analysis of preventing and combating corruption, the effectiveness of the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy, and measures taken to prevent and combat corruption.
