Poroshenko appointed a new head of Ukrainian foreign intelligence
Petro Poroshenko signed a decree appointing Yegor Bozhko as chairman of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and introduced him to the team, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the press service of the Ukrainian presidential administration.

According to Poroshenko, Yegor Bozhko’s work in the Ukrainian mission to NATO “made it possible to coordinate the efforts of international partners to support Ukraine and strengthen the defense capability of the state. He also noted that this activity is of particular importance for protecting the national interests of Ukraine,” the message says.
The President expressed confidence that the appointment of a new chairman of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine will give impetus to the development of the service, and also expressed confidence that the new leader will be able to significantly enhance the efficiency of the service and interaction with other departments of the defense bloc.
