Official website of the current governor of the Lugansk region Gennady Moskal, also a policeman in the past, reports the following details from Malikov’s biography:
“Malikov became famous for the fact that he first renovated his office, adding a kitchen and shower room, provided himself with housing of 200 square meters and provided housing for his daughter from his first marriage. The queue for housing for police officers was reviewed and housing was given to those who were able to pay from 3000 to 5000 US dollars.”
Also on Moskal’s website it is stated that in Sevastopol Malikov drove “a new Volkswagen Touareg jeep worth 70 thousand euros,” and the total cost of the general’s official vehicle fleet then exceeded 250 thousand euros.
