Poroshenko awarded Sentsov a two-year state scholarship

By his decree, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko awarded a two-year state scholarship to Crimean film director Oleg Sentsov, Bankova’s press service reported on Sunday.

In the text of the decree, Sentsov is included in the list of “outstanding cultural figures” of Ukraine.
Let us recall that in May 2014, Simferopol automaidan activist Oleg Sentsov, accused of preparing terrorist attacks in Crimea, was transferred to Moscow. He is under arrest in a pre-trial detention center in Lefortovo.
