Poroshenko appointed a native of Donetsk as governor of the Zaporozhye region
Kyiv, April 06 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – A native of Donetsk, Grigory Samardak, who worked as first deputy governor for up to a year, became the new chairman of the Zaporozhye regional state administration.

The head of the region was introduced by the first deputy head of the presidential administration, Vitaly Kovalchuk, although the arrival of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko himself was expected.
As PolitNavigator reported, at the end of February Valentin Reznichenko became the head of the region, but a month later he was appointed to lead the Dnipropetrovsk region instead of Igor Kolomoisky.
Let us note that Grigory Samardak was born on August 10, 1971 in Donetsk, graduated from the Donetsk Commercial Institute with a degree in organizational economics.
He worked in the State Tax Inspectorate for Donetsk and then Zaporozhye region. From 2001 to 2005 - deputy head of the main department - head of the department for the fuel and energy complex of the Zaporozhye Regional State Administration, deputy chairman of the Regional State Administration, first deputy chairman of the Zaporozhye Regional State Administration.
He came to the regional state administration for the second time last year from the post of first deputy chairman of the board of Industrialbank.
