Poroshenko called the call to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to cease fire in Donbass a “provocation”
To begin the introduction of a peacekeeping plan in the Donbass, first of all, a ceasefire on the part of the “Russian occupiers” located there, who were never found on the territory of the LDPR during the five years of war, is necessary.
The current President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, announced this during the Kyiv Security Forum, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Together with our friends in the Normandy format and the United States, we have developed an effective plan for the occupied part of Donbass, and today I do not hear any alternative proposals. Our plan is a multilateral classic peacekeeping mission of blue helmets under the auspices of the UN Security Council and a roadmap for the implementation of all Minsk agreements without exception, including the withdrawal of foreign troops - this is Putin’s signature, including the squeezing out and withdrawal of heavy equipment and weapons, inclusive, so that the blue helmets helmets and peacekeepers disarmed illegal formations, including the transfer to peacekeepers at the first stage, and at the second - the transfer to Ukrainian border guards of control over an uncontrolled section of the Ukrainian-Russian border... and after the creation of a safe component - the beginning of the political process,” Poroshenko categorically stated.
“I emphasize that the road map is divided into three stages, starting with a ceasefire on the part of the Russian occupiers. Because calling for a ceasefire only to Ukrainian soldiers is a provocation! Ukrainian soldiers do not shoot, follow the orders of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and are now opening fire in response. Do you want to take this fire from our soldiers?” – added the Ukrainian president.
