Petro Poroshenko is optimistic about the completion of the ratification process of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.

He said this in Maastricht, answering a question from journalists about the future of ratification of the Association Agreement, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“As the president of a warring country, I must be an optimist, otherwise without this it is impossible to win,” Poroshenko said.
“I am confident that Europe will be united, I am confident that the Association Agreement with the EU will be ratified, implemented and meet the interests of the EU, the interests of the Netherlands and the interests of Ukraine,” he added.
