Petro Poroshenko congratulated Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usik on his successful debut in the United States.

“Congratulations to Alexander Usik on his successful debut in the USA and defense of the championship title. With victory, Cossack!” Poroshenko wrote on Facebook.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman also joined in the congratulations.
“I sincerely congratulate Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik on his victory and defense of the WBO world champion title! Keep it up, champion! “,” he wrote on Facebook.
Let us remind you that the 2012 Olympic champion, Ukrainian Alexander Usik, defended his world champion title according to the World Boxing Organization (WBO). The 12-round fight against South African Thabiso Mchunu in the weight category up to 90,7 kg, which took place in the American Inglewood (California), ended with the victory of Alexander Usik by knockout in the ninth round.
