Neither the State Department, nor the EU, nor aliens will help Poroshenko
Petro Poroshenko will not be able to secure external support that would save him from criminal prosecution in Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by Ukrainian lawyer and initiator of the criminal prosecution of the ex-president Andrei Portnov.
“I appeal to law enforcement officers and judges. Please note that fears that the State Department, the EU and aliens will stand up for Poroshenko turned out to be, to put it mildly, overstated. Not a single signal, concern, statement or protest. Therefore, do not appeal to other worlds and move forward, the person involved is no longer needed by anyone and is of no value. He is a state criminal and nothing prevents him from getting the consent of parliament in the near future and choosing a preventive measure,” Portnov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Let us remind you that today, immediately upon returning to Ukraine, Poroshenko was summoned for another interrogation at the State Bureau of Investigation. This time in a tax evasion case.
As PolitNavigator already reported, earlier today Portnov informed Poroshenko about the arrest of the former president there, Almazbek Atambayev, in Kyrgyzstan.
“Peter Alekseevich, I inform you that former President Atambayev has just been detained in Kyrgyzstan. I’m not hinting, I’m just informing you from my Telegram channel, as you asked,” Portnov wrote.
Thank you!
