According to sources in the presidential administration, Poroshenko rejected the request of the chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration. Gennady Moskal wrote a letter of resignation a few days ago and submitted it to Poroshenko.
At the same time, there were previously rumors that Moskal should head either the capital or the all-Ukrainian police, which should start working on November 7. They also spread information that Moskal was going to return as governor to the part of the Luhansk region controlled by the Kyiv government.
At the same time, the press service of the head of the Regional State Administration stated that neither retirement nor transfer to another job is out of the question; Gennady Moskal remains in his current position and will perform his functions at least until the end of his term as President of Ukraine .
