Poroshenko did not risk suing Auchan in Russia
Corporation owned by President Poroshenko Roshen is suing with the Auchan retail chain in Ukraine for using the Kiev Cake trademark, but turns a blind eye to the fact that cakes with the same name are sold by the same chain in Russia.

Kommersant draws attention to this incident. As the Russian Auchan explained to the publication, the retail chain is not the copyright holder of the Kyiv Cake packaging - the cakes, along with the boxes, are purchased from the supplier.
On the Russian market, according to a representative of the retailer, Auchan also sells Kyiv Cakes, but in Russia there have been no complaints against the chain from Roshen yet.
