Poroshenko does not agree that language cannot be spread on bread
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy assured that all resolutions to repeal the adoption of the language law will not pass in parliament, and the anti-constitutional law will be signed, despite discontent in the EU and within Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He stated this during a joint meeting with Petro Poroshenko with the intelligentsia in Lvov, Poroshenko’s website reports.
“I want to confirm: no resolutions will stop the signing of the language law. We just understand that all these evil spirits will go to court to repeal the law, and I try to follow the entire procedure down to the nuances so that they have no chance. On May 14-15 we will reject all their decisions,” Parubiy said.
According to him, the rejection of the relevant resolutions will take place “technically and quickly.”
In turn, Petro Poroshenko responded to those who do not support the adoption of the language law: “They say: language and freedom cannot be spread on bread! Excuse me, please, but without freedom and without language there will be no bread.”
