Poroshenko: There is no light in Ukraine - there will be no light in Crimea either

“From zero hours there is already a flow... There is a firm hope that Ukrainians will have light in the New Year,” he said.
According to Poroshenko, this is good news for the residents of Crimea, since previously rolling blackouts on the peninsula occurred due to the fact that “we did not have electricity.”
“There is no electricity in Ukraine; there is also no electricity in Crimea,” Poroshenko said.
The President categorically denied that in the electricity supply scheme there is an intermediary company related to the top of Ukraine.
He also said that the Russian Federation is also ready to sell coal to Ukraine, which is necessary for the operation of thermal power plants. “We can finally buy coal from the Russian Federation. Unfortunately, for foreign currency,” Poroshenko said.
