“She did well, she did everything right, according to the law. They grabbed me and kept me in custody to show: if Saakashvili, whom the whole world knows, and I treat like this, then we will roll you all into asphalt. The judge did not comply with their demands, which means that not everything is so bad,” Saakashvili said, leaving the courtroom.
He admitted that he was most hungry because he was on a hunger strike.
“Putin’s symbol was Khodorkovsky. It was broken - all business in Russia. Yanukovych's symbol was Yulia. He bought time by putting her down, but not for long. For some reason, I became Poroshenko’s symbol. He wants to use my example to clear the political field. This doesn’t make me happy at all,” Saakashvili said.
Then Saakashvili went to Khreshchatyk, where about a thousand supporters were waiting for him all day. He thanked them for their support and invited them to the next meeting next Sunday.
The support group escorted Saakashvili home, chanting “Impeachment” and “Lutsenko – resign.” Passing cars greeted the procession with horns.
