Poroshenko deceived ATO participants: “We didn’t receive a penny”
Slavyansk, July 09 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Petro Poroshenko never fulfilled his election promise to increase payments to participants of the so-called ATO in Donbass to 1000 UAH per day.
This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy from Svoboda Yuriy Sirotyuk, a member of the parliamentary committee on defense and national security.

“And the soldiers of the 2nd battalion, like the first, did not receive a penny in the ATO zone... And so they sang about a thousand a day,” Sirotyuk wrote on Facebook.
Let us recall that on the eve of the presidential elections, Poroshenko spoke at meetings with voters that immediately after the victory on May 26, he would initiate an increase in payments to ATO participants from among volunteers from 600 UAH per month to 1000 UAH per day.
“They defend the Motherland for 600 UAH! So I take my hat off to them. This will be the first priority: there will be no conscripts there, there will be volunteers, he will receive a thousand a day. His life and health will be insured for 1 million UAH,” Poroshenko said.
