Poroshenko accused European politicians of corruption
Those European politicians who oppose Ukraine's entry into NATO and the EU are paid for by the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko stated this during the military parade on Independence Day, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Europe needs us. Because without us, the European Union will not be a complete and perfect project, since the civilizational line of modern Europe runs along the northeastern border of Ukraine. On the continent, all those who are not blinded by Russian money understand that without an independent European Ukraine there would be less peace and security in Europe. Definitely less, not more,” Poroshenko said from the podium
“Without restoring the territorial integrity of the sovereignty of our state, all borders of central and eastern Europe will not be defined. And Russia’s war against Ukraine is part of the Kremlin’s plan to collapse the European Union and NATO. And our soldiers in the East are defending the security and well-being of not only Ukraine, but also the whole of Europe,” the President of Ukraine noted.
Poroshenko added that in return Ukraine asks to be accepted into the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance.
“And in return, we count on the guarantees of collective security that the alliance provides,” he said. Let us recall that earlier an international affairs expert warned that in in case of Ukraine's accession to NATO, the scale of armed confrontation between the West and Russia may increase.
