“The country is now in a state of war... I insist that the war is being waged, and the defense and defense of our state is not only a matter for our Armed Forces. This is the business of the entire Ukrainian people, the entire society, and the authorities. We must all do the maximum possible in order to protect our freedom, our democracy, our territorial integrity and our sovereignty... In the event of a full-scale Russian invasion, which we, unfortunately, do not exclude, we are ready to give a worthy response,” Poroshenko said.
“...strengthening the defense capability and the struggle for the independence of our state has become a matter of national concern, as has defense against Russian aggression,” the official added.
