Poroshenko was obliged to make a decision to ban electricity supplies to Crimea - the petition received 25 thousand signatures
An electronic petition on Petro Poroshenko’s website to stop the supply of electricity produced in Ukraine to Crimea has received more than 25 thousand signatures, which obliges the President of Ukraine to consider it.

“There can be any kind of lie, but there is only one truth: Crimea cannot survive without Ukraine. And if all Crimeans understand this, there will be hope for the speedy return of the peninsula to the control of our state. Unfortunately, the current policy of the Ukrainian government does not allow Crimea to realize all the disadvantages of life without Ukraine. Moreover, it reaches the point of absurdity - by supplying electricity to the occupation authorities in Crimea, Ukraine itself is forced to buy electricity from its neighbor, the aggressor,” the text of the petition says.
The petition was submitted in early September, and now 25 thousand 351 votes have already been collected out of the 25 thousand required for consideration.
