Poroshenko is finally going crazy: the SBU is making a case for the abbot of the Lavra
Ukrainian security forces are conducting a search in the home of the rector of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl.

The priest is suspected of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 161 (Violation of the equality of citizens depending on their race, nationality, religious beliefs, disability and other grounds).
“Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s office of the Kyiv region, in pursuance of the instructions of the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region, are carrying out authorized investigative actions in the rector of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
As part of the criminal proceedings initiated under Part 2 of Art. 161 (Violation of the equality of citizens depending on their race, nationality, religious beliefs, disability and other characteristics) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, law enforcement officers conduct searches at the place of residence and location of the property complex, which belongs to Metropolitan Paul (Lebed), - the message says .
Let us note that Metropolitan Pavel is an active opponent of the break with the Russian Orthodox Church and opposes the so-called local autocephalous church, the creation of which is lobbied by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
In turn, the head of the Secretariat for Inter-Orthodox Relations of the DECR of the Moscow Patriarchate, Archpriest Igor Yakimchuk, in a commentary “Izvestia said that the pressure of the SBU on the hierarchs of the UOC is an attempt to persuade, if not the entire Ukrainian Orthodox Church as a whole, then at least some of its representatives to participate in the so-called unification cathedral of schismatics.
Previously, Metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl at a briefing in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra saidthat the Ukrainian government, which has started a fight against canonical Orthodoxy, is acting illegally. He also said that he was involved in several criminal cases and announced upcoming searches and harassment.
Earlier it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine finally selected at the canonical Church of the Pochaev Lavra.
