Poroshenko is sinking lower and lower
According to current sociology, the most likely winner of the first round of the presidential elections in Ukraine is the leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko.
Sergei Demyanov, executive director of the RAND Center for Social Engineering, said this during a press conference on the topic “Analysis of Ukrainians’ social expectations from the 2019 elections,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In terms of the president’s ratings, Yulia Tymoshenko traditionally leads here (9,3%) - well, this is the first round. It seems to have its own clear electorate, which will gradually decrease, since its structure is not clear enough and it is susceptible to populist ideas. Poroshenko (8,4%) - it is clear that this is the government, and he is falling lower in the ratings, besides, there were many events associated with him - the fight with Saakashvili, and everything else. This somewhat undermined his position.
Vakarchuk (7,3%) - everything is clear here, he was looking forward to a new face, but for Gritsenko (7%) - the ratings fell, because there are a lot of points about his past cases. Its rating has every potential to fall, despite the fact that there is a request for something new,” the expert said.
